Dandelion Tea Healing Properties

Dandelion root tea has many medicinal benefits. In fact, there are several dandelion herbal remedies that aid in digestive disorders, to help with fluid retention problems and as an ideal skin cleansing formula.

Dandelion Root Herbal Tea Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce dandelion root, roasted and ground
  • 1 ounce dandelion leaves and stems, roasted and ground
  • 2/3 ounce fennel seeds
  • 2/3 ounce peppermint leaves

Directions

Steep mixture in 1 cup of hot water for about 10 minutes, strain and drink.

This combination will help digestion, alleviate intestinal gas and stimulate bile production.

Basic Dandelion Tea Recipe

Ingredients and Directions

Dry and crush the leaves of early spring dandelion leaves, which make for a less bitter tea.

Pour 1 cup of boiling water over about 2 tablespoons of leaves and let steep or about 10 minutes.

Dandelion Benefits Medicinal Skin Cleansing

Ingredients

  • 2/3 ounce dandelion root
  • 2/3 ounce dandelion leaves
  • 2/3 ounce nettle leaves
  • 2/3 ounce red clover blossoms
  • 2/3 ounce rose hips

Directions

Steep mixture in 1 cup boiling water for about 10 minutes, strain and drink.

It is recommended that you drink one cup a day for several weeks before the skin clarity results become noticeable.

Dandelion Benefits Fluid Retention

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce dandelion root
  • 1 ounce dandelion leaves
  • 2/3 ounce nettle leaves
  • 2/3 ounce spearmint leaves

Directions

Steep mixture in 1 cup boiling water for 10 minutes and strain. This tea helps reduce bloating and fluid retention by stimulating the kidneys and metabolism.
